Question by sasspot: Shy in bed, how do i become more comfortable with sex?

i am 20, attractive and a virgin. i am pretty shy when it comes to getting physical.
my boyfriend and i are planning to have sex, i want to but am also very nervous. he is very experienced whereas i get very shy.it just happens i cannot help it. he never puts any pressure on me about it, he says he understands since i am a virgin.
i want to get comfortable in bed...how do i become more open with sex?
any tips?
